I wasted my youth on pills and booze. Never finished school, everyone thinks I'm a fool. But that's not the way I see it in my head, or have I gone crazy? Why do I seem to lose the things that matter most? Life is such a joke. Though I try to make amends, always comes to the same end: It's all my fault. I walk a different path, not afraid of God's wrath. The thought of prayer makes me laugh. Better focus on your craft. Everything that we want in life is here right now, we just have to take it. Let your guard down enough to meet someone you love, you won't have to fake it! Though I try to speak my mind, always comes to the same line: It's not your fault. Try to keep yourself on track, eyes ahead, no looking back. Forgive yourself for your mistakes, your happiness is just misplaced. No regrets, just fun, let your shadow run, know you've found yourself again when you want to be your friend.

Little bird sitting by the fire, wings are burned, broken and tired. But the warmth is all she needs, and something cool to drink, maybe a bite to eat, oh, silhouette of thee. Can anyone hear what I say? Not that it matters anyway. Lonesome shadow, achy feet running back into eternity. And finally I'm awake, I've taken all I'll take until my body breaks, until my body breaks.

Eve (Demo) 04:24
Oh my god, it's happened again, I fell in love with a friend, the very one who's wrong for me. Oh, these sins, I wouldn't know where to begin, but the path I've walked is not the path I'm on. It's so wrong, but you know it's a lie when you say that you're done, when you say that you're done, it's a crime, but even I see the longing in your eyes, in your eyes. Darlin, open your door, let me in, kick me out If it's what'll make you happy; to say, "Oh, no, no, I just can't see this workin out." - darlin, lose your doubt. It's so wrong, but you know it's a lie when you say that you're done, when you say that you're done, it's a crime, but even I see the longing in your eyes, in your eyes. With every day that creeps on by, I'm still one lucky guy, just knowing that you're close to me. But it's so wrong, but you know it's a lie when you say that you're done, when you say that you're done, it's a crime, but even I see the longing in your eyes, in your eyes.

Woke up on a couch after a night at Davey Wayne's. Birds are chirping outside, and it's cold as fuck in LA. Eyes are bleedin again, nose too stuffed to breathe. Sun is setting outside, and it's cold as fuck in LA. yeah, it's cold as fuck in LA. My back is breaking from the weight, my heart is breaking from the pain. City of Angels' got the devil creepin on me. And I think that I might like it here... And it's cold as fuck in LA. yeah it's cold as fuck in LA.

San Jose's getting me down, my wanderlust won't fade that easily. Got these girls I chase around, try as I might, it always ends so feebly. And I care for you, why don't you believe me? I've tested every way I know how. Crossed my t's, dotted i's, but your breasts, they hypnotize. I'm through with telling lies, but babe, the way you make me feel is something I could get used to, yeah.
6.
Lilac wine and a drive, promises of a good time. Such a bad taste in my mouth well, I can't get out. Stuck in my head, playing lost and found. Least I've got a family above ground. Mirrored reflection looks a stranger, and I keep on driving. Shame's been steering lives for far too long, no one tell me what is right from wrong. How can someone forgive themselves? Well, I've gotta try.
7.
Radiating light with every word, so beauteous it seems absurd. Kindred souls, it feels just right, won't lose it all without a fight. And when you say my name, I hear it loud and clear. Went to Garden of Eden, drank mimosas and beer, took pictures, sang so soft to each other, you can't hear a word, but the one I once called baby, I don't recognize. So please repair my heart, let's go back to the start. Cause I miss the way you look, and I miss your laugh, and I miss your eyes, and I miss your hair, and I miss your skin, and I miss your breath, and I miss your lips, and I miss your words, and I miss your love. I miss your love, but it's just not right.
